Our sessions help reduce loneliness by giving residents regular opportunities to connect, communicate and have fun together. Familiar songs unlock memories, while British Sign Language encourages gentle movement, concentration and coordination in a way that feels natural and enjoyable rather than like exercise. Because there is no right or wrong way to take part, everyone can join in regardless of their confidence, communication needs or physical ability.

Lisa’s Lifetime Learners offers singing and British Sign Language (BSL) sessions designed to support cognitive function and gentle movement. Where possible, residents take part in intergenerational sessions alongside local school and preschool children. These experiences provide meaningful opportunities for connection, reducing loneliness and creating joyful shared moments across generations.
